★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally a fan but recent experiences have been disappointing. Today I ordered a roast duck noodle and all I received were a few small chopped up pieces of boney meat. Hope they will improve on their portions otherwise customers will just not return. I will give them another go in future and will update my review accordingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found a worm in my noodles today and all they did was reheat my food. No compensation no refund nothing. I was going to order congee for a sick friend, however, after this experience, I probably shouldn’t, I don’t want to make him feel sicker. I will never step foot into this dodgy restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad example of Orient Kitchen in ACT: Google should allow us to assign negative stars for these heartless shop owners. One of the worst Chinese restaurants I have ever tasted in Canberra. I have bought a lemon chicken rice, the rice was dressed with very very sweet lemon juice, with few pieces of tasteless deep fried frozen chicken. The shop owners were damn rude when asked about the quality of the food. I just left the food after tasting 3 spoons. As mentioned by the other reviewer here, I chose to starve, instead of eating such an unhealthy, tasteless food (mud). The shop owners did not bother to say anything when I left the food (heartless people).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made an order of 4 dishes on DoorDash. Confirmed our order pretty much right away. 30+ minutes later the order was cancelled. No explanation or anything. Complete disappointment. I don't know if that was due to limitations with the app but it's pretty rude to leave a customer out dry with no food and no explanation after half an hour of wait.
I've had great experiences with another Orient Kitchen in South of Canberra for dine-ins. Maybe the dine in experience here will be better next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my third time here! Their food was great as always. They are very generous with their servings, we had to take away some left over. The staff were nice as well. Overall, my experience was nice, this restaurant never disappoints me. Cheers.

But other dish was a bit salty, staff was not welcoming at all, overall 3 star would suit.
Good for BBQ meat takeaway tho, but definitely won’t back to dine in.
